It's 2010 and the clouds are parting. This year has many great things in store for the band, but every great story begins with a dark background. Friday January 22, we played our first show of the new year. As many have heard, Brian was held at knife point and had his baby, the tool of his art, his guitar taken by a few misguided, desperate people. Taking a page from Conan's notebook, we are not going to be cynical. To waste our time with hate and anger would be to tarnish our muse: LOVE. The outpouring of love and support was immediate. BJ Clark, a close friend and fellow artist offered his support at his first show coming up January 31 at the Mint in Los Angeles. This outpouring of kindness is a testament to the fact that, "Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get, but if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." We are blessed with the news that our close friends, Casey & Lauren Hurt and Mimi & Teft are moving to L.A. Being surrounded by artists keeps us grounded with the fact that we are so lucky to be doing what we love. We look forward to much more music, much more love, and many more Bright Blue Skies.
